Project Overview

Introducing CSUN's EV Revolution

California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is currently expanding its present network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations on campus. EV commuters will soon have access to 90 convenient charging stations in total, as all current Level 2 and Level 3 chargers are being replaced with new “smart” chargers.

Create a contemporary design that represents CSUN's sustainability initiative.

Research & Planning

Gaining insight & empathy

Initial research was conducted on similar projects and infographics to gain insight into the style, structure, layout, and functionality. We wanted to identify what worked and what didn’t to design an optimal experience for all users.

Early Concepts

First drafts of the signage.

Final Concept

Utilizing the combined illustrated assets of my colleagues and I, I created an infographic that lives on CSUN's EV Charging website.
